1. paste the following text into a text editor on your computer,

rem #### simply executes an ftp command, -s to reference a file

rem #### put this file and the related FTPDATA file into a folder
rem #### set up ftpdata file as directed and then you can ftp
rem #### a third file of your choice to the website or server of

2. save this file as herbsftp.bat
(this is a "batch" file format)

3. create a second file by pasting the following text:

open www.yourwebsite.com
yourusername
yourpassword
cd public_html (this line may be optional (or different)for your server)
ascii
put your-web-page.html
bye
4. save this file as ftpdata with no extension

5. the two above files should be saved in the same folder or directory
6. the third file www.your-web-page.html should also be in the same folder
7. you can now enter new events or info into your web page and save it with
your text editor
8. you should now be able to double click on herbsftp.bat and your new web page
will be sent to your web site!!!!
9. you can create a short cut to herbsftp.bat and put it on your desktop
for easy access !!!
